D4 Events created the European Deepstack Poker Championship in 2008. With a 50,000 chip starting stack and one hour levels it soon became on of the most popular events on the European poker circuit. In 2011 the Dublin event had 737 players making it one of the largest poker events in Europe.
The European Deepstack Poker Tour has expanded with legs in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England and Slovenia and has amassed a large loyal following the the European poker community.

Feb 6th - 12th Dublin, Ireland
The Irish tour is a new series of events in Ireland based around some great existing ones. D4 Events is part of The Poker Partnership that will be bringing four €300 buy in events culminating in a €600 Grand Final in Dublin.
The first event is The Western Open which had 268 players in 2011 and is being held in the magnificent Breaffy House Hotel in Castelbar. Situated in the stunning surroundings of western Ireland this is an event not to be missed!

One of the most exciting events on the tour is “Goliath”. Created by Grosvenor and D4 Events in 2011 the inaugural event had 1765 players making it the largest poker event in Europe! With a low £120 buy in and a great structure created by D4 Events this tournament is likely to grow even bigger in 2012!

Last years event was won by the UK's Steven King, winning €63,000. Steven was one of the few players to re-enter the tournament as he was knocked out on Day 1A by the eventual 5th place finisher Jean Claude Marets, I think he would call this a resounding success and its not a bad way to promote a re-entry tournament.
Currently D4 Live produces the Live Stream for the GUKPT & European Deepstack Poker Tour as well as one off events like the Winamax Grand Final in Paris and The Poker Strategy World TV Championship in London.
